Jen, Gene and Abby
Dear Edith and Jim,
This is incredible. When I found out that you guys were engaged I was in a state of shock. I couldn't believe that the words I had said (Edith and Jim are definitely getting married) before leaving Florida in July became true.
I just remember the first time I met Jim; Edith introduced him as his bestfriend. In many cases, thats how a relationship begins, being bestfriends. This is a blessing and I'm proud to say that Jim is becoming part of the Vega Family.
Congratulations. Stay Strong and live life to its fullest.
Get ready to become a "tourist" primo haha if you know what I mean (Edith and Adriana).
Love you both,
Dear Edith and Jim: Best wishes for a life of happiness and fullfilment, you make such a beautiful couple, love always, Tia Jo

Nicaragua is a small but very beautiful country (population 5 million) in the heart of Central America. The climate is tropical, with maximum temperatures in April of around 90 degrees F (32 degrees Celsius).
For those of you traveling from outside of Nicaragua, San Juan del Sur is about 2 hours south of Managua, the capital of Nicaragua.
We recommend flying with American Airlines, Delta or United Airlines to coordinate pickup times.
Please book your flights to fly in to Augusto C. Sandino International Airport in Managua, Nicaragua (code MGA). We will provide transportation to and from San Juan del Sur. We recommend flying in during the daytime as the route to San Juan del Sur is not well lit.
Once your flights are booked, we will ask you to send your flight information to us (email firstname.lastname@example.org) so we can take care of the logistics. (By we, we mean Edith's mother.) :)
Also, to book your hotel room, please contact the hotel directly and then email email@example.com advising her that you have already made a reservation. If you would like to share a room, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org directly.
Contact information for the hotel:
Pbx: +(505) 2563-7000 al 09
Skype #: 805-284-9447
We will keep you updated on all the details here on the website. :)
We are honored you will share in our special day. While your presence is enough, we didn't do a traditional registry because we have a home full of everything we need. Here you can contribute to our dream honeymoon.
We plan on spending nine nights in South Africa with time spent along the coast in Cape Town as well as safaris within the country. Your contributions will help towards airfare, hotels, meals, sightseeing, safaris and probably a few beers along the way.
You can contribute through paypal by clicking on the link below or cash or check.
Thank you for visiting the website and we can't wait to see you on our big day in Nicaragua.

“Art is the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power.”
Public schools in Nicaragua do not include art or sport activities in the school curriculum due to lack of budget they obtain. This is the reason that the Foundation A Jean Brugger has decided to conduct art workshops in public schools in the rural areas of San Juan del Sur to stimulate the creative abilities of children in primary school. The ultimate goal is to provide skills through our art workshops that will positively impact the children learning process in all other subjects of school.
This event is sponsored by the Bride and Groom. We plan on going to the school from 8:30am-11:30am. Craft material, a piñata, sweets for the children, and transportation will be provided.
We hope you can join us on this opportunity to improve the lives of the children in Nicaragua! :)
“Benevolence is not just moral, it is essential. Benevolence is good for individuals, relationships, nations, and the world as a whole.” - Rick Hanson, Ph.D. a neuropsychologist and author of Hardwiring Happiness: The New Brain Science of Contentment, Calm, and Confidence
Enjoy a relaxing day at the beach in Aqua Wellness Resort where we'll have a private beach and cold delicious macuas!
Feel free to schedule a yoga/meditation class and/or a massage overlooking the ocean.
Transportation will be provided by the bride and groom.
We hope you can make it!
Transportation will be provided.
We have a full day of events planned ahead!
We will visit Volcan Masaya, Granada, and go on a canopy/zipline tour!
Date: September 14, 3013
Location: New Orleans – French Quarter on St.Philip St. in
between Chartres St. and Decatur St.
We went to brunch at the Ruby Slipper on Magazine Street – ate shrimp and grits, crème brulee French toast and I drank very strong mimosas while he drank a delicious bloody mary.
We walked around the French quarter holding hands, loving life. Then we stepped into a dive bar because yours truly has a bladder of a 3 year old. We enjoyed a delicious Abita Amber (local beer), then walked out and of course I see the gay thrift shop next door and I ran in!
We looked at funky gadgets and old fabulous chandeliers from the 20s. We walked out and talked about how fortunate we are to have found each other. We talked about how we always have great times together, how it easy to be around each other and that we never wanted it to end. Then he reached into his cargo shorts pocket, got down on one knee, and asked me if I would spend the rest of my life with him.
Of course, I said “Yes!”. An old black man walked by and said in his N’awlins accent, “Oh my god. You two in loooooveeee! Let me take a picture!” he took the picture and walked away.
We called the whole family for the next 20 minutes, ate muffaletas, then had delicious frozen coffee and beignets! We spent the rest of the weekend in a combination of a state of bliss and a food coma…
Little did we know that a simple lunch at Jimmy John's would twist and turn its way into a deep friendship and love story. That was one powerful lettuce wrap. We worked together for almost one year before we really spoke more than a few sentences to each other. But once we did, it became apparent that we didn't want to spend any time without one another.
We've traveled to many fun and exciting places in a short time, all the while getting to know each other better and strengthening our bond. Places like Ibiza, Amsterdam, Lake Tahoe and Costa Rica were a blast, but what always stuck out was our ability to have fun doing nothing. Throughout our time together we realized that we are the perfect compliment for one another while bringing out the best in each other at every turn.
We look forward to spending the rest of our lives together, building on the amazing time we've already spent together.
For those of you that don't know Yimmy, he's the most selfless and loving person I have ever met. On top of that, he's tall, handsome, and understands my wit! I totally hit the jackpot! The best part is, he feels the same way too!
I enjoy cooking, he "loves" washing dishes.
I enjoy singing out loud, and he "loves" listening to my baritone voice.
He loves watching sports, and I love going to bars and socializing while everyone is trying to watch the game. ;)
He complements me, and brings out the best in me. I couldn't ask for a better partner to share my wonderful life with. :)
It's not easy to describe Edith in a small space like this, but I'll do my best to tell you some of the things I love about her:
She's the perfect blend of peace, energy and love.
She has a smile that solves life's problems in an instant.
She has an endless supply of energy, except when it comes to sitting still and watching TV.
She is always interested in what someone else has to say, unless it's mean-spirited and then she'll tune them out in a second.
She is always curious and willing to learn regardless of the subject.
She has a sense of adventure that inspires me to push my limits.
But most of it's all her witty, confident, shameless, positive and optimistic general way of life that I don't want to ever live without.
